Delicious Banana Bread in 5 Minutes

The typical banana bread recipe is loaded with refined sugar. An ingredient that has been proven to decrease immunity, increase inflammation and most importantly. It dramatically increases weight regain by feeding the “Bad” bacteria in your gut.

No more regain by eliminating refined sugar

As opposed to traditional flour and sugar, this recipe uses Medjool Dates and Bananas for sweetness. These fiber rich ingredients not only taste great, but they lower your risk for regain by feeding your “Good” gut bacteria and improving gut health.

Ingredients that improve energy and decrease muscle cramps

Plus, Medjool Dates and bananas are both excellent sources of Iron and Potassium.  Two very important minerals for weight loss surgery patients. As they play vital roles in energy levels and muscle cramping.

Overall, this is a perfect recipe for weight loss surgery patients who want to eat breads without increasing the risk of weight gain.

Each slice of this bread contains 3 grams of Protein and 2 grams of Fiber.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup Arrowroot starch
4 Eggs
6 Medjool Dates
2 Ripe Bananas
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts

DIRECTIONS

MIX

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until well combined.  Grease 2 mini loaf pans with coconut oil.  Pour batter in each pan evenly, top with pecans.  Let rest for 2-3 minutes before baking.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

*Tip place mini loaf pans on a baking sheet while baking

I loved the recipes… easy and my husband loved them, as did I. I felt full and satisfied. I have not had a low blood sugar since following your 10 Day Back on Track Class Meal Plan and that was my goal.

Plus, the loss of 4 pounds was an added bonus. Looking back I realize I was not eating the right foods therefore I was having low blood sugars. I have a whole new way of thinking when it comes to eating thanks to the Gastric Health Club and to you Dawn! Thanks!!

      Tammy,

I’m not a big believer in counting calories, but each slice is 100 calories, 2 gm Fat, 18 gm CHO, Pro 3 gm, Fiber 2 gm. Hope it helps.
