As opposed to traditional flour and sugar, this recipe uses Medjool Dates and Bananas for sweetness. These fiber rich ingredients not only taste great, but they lower your risk for regain by feeding your “Good” gut bacteria and improving gut health.

Plus, Medjool Dates and bananas are both excellent sources of Iron and Potassium. Two very important minerals for weight loss surgery patients. As they play vital roles in energy levels and muscle cramping.
Overall, this is a perfect recipe for weight loss surgery patients who want to eat breads without increasing the risk of weight gain.
Each slice of this bread contains 3 grams of Protein and 2 grams of Fiber.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup Arrowroot starch
4 Eggs
6 Medjool Dates
2 Ripe Bananas
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts
DIRECTIONS
MIX
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until well combined. Grease 2 mini loaf pans with coconut oil. Pour batter in each pan evenly, top with pecans. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
*Tip place mini loaf pans on a baking sheet while baking

I’m not a big believer in counting calories, but each slice is 100 calories, 2 gm Fat, 18 gm CHO, Pro 3 gm, Fiber 2 gm. Hope it helps.
