Make your plans, set your goals and avoid holiday regain
Establishing your “why” for staying on track during the holidays is a great way to keep motivated and avoid regain. There will always be temptation and opportunity to get off track, but with firm goals and boundaries you can sail through without a concern for regain.
Avoiding holiday regain is not about being perfect
Food is medicine from the aspect of it’s ability to nourish your body. But, only if you focus to whole, real food. If you concentrate on eating quality protein, vegetables and healthy fats then you don’t have to concern yourself with counting calories, batting cravings or being perfect to avoid holiday regain.

- Team up with buddy for accountability
- Plan ahead and take healthy dishes you know you can eat
- Adjust your mindset

- Log your foods to avoid mindless grazing
- If you indulge don’t beat yourself up, move on
- Get active
