A simple way to improve digestion and maximize your probiotic supplements

Taking a probiotic supplement is a must for weight loss surgery patients. As probiotics play a central role in determining how much weight you will lose after surgery and how long you keep the weight off.

Unfortunately, medication, stress, antibiotics and packaged / processed foods (all things weight loss surgery patients have to manage) have been proven to destroy these vital microbes.

Thus, to improve your odds of achieving your health goals after surgery. It is extremely important to learn how probiotics work.

Prebiotics are the fuel source probiotics require

Probiotics work by growing the good bacteria within your intestines. However, in order to do their job. Probiotics require a fuel source called prebiotics.

Prebiotic’s are non-living, non-digestible fiber compounds and are abundant in foods like: Leeks, onions, garlic, artichokes, green bananas, jicama, dandelion greens, beans, legumes, asparagus, raw honey, flax & chia seeds. To learn more about prebiotic’s click here

And since probiotics require prebiotics to work. If you are not eating prebiotic foods consistenly. This is like having a new car that doesn’t run because you forgot to put gas in it.
