Probiotic supplements can help end a stall

Taking a probiotic supplement is a must for weight loss surgery patients. As probiotics play a central role in determining how much weight you will lose after surgery and how long you keep the weight off.

Unfortunately, medication, stress, antibiotics and packaged / processed foods (all things weight loss surgery patients have to manage) have been proven to destroy these vital microbes.

Thus, if you are in the midst of a stall or battling regain. It is extremely important to learn how probiotics work.

Prebiotics are a secret food source that help jump start weight loss

Probiotics work by growing the good bacteria within your intestines. However, in order to do their job. Probiotics require a fuel source called prebiotics.

Prebiotic’s are non-living, non-digestible fiber compounds and are abundant in foods like: Leeks, onions, garlic, artichokes, green bananas, jicama, dandelion greens, beans, legumes, asparagus, raw honey, flax & chia seeds. To learn more about prebiotic’s click here

And since probiotics require prebiotics to work. If you are not eating prebiotic foods consistenly. This is like having a new car that doesn’t run because you forgot to put gas in it.

If you are not eating prebiotic foods on a daily basis. You must make sure your probiotic supplements contain prebiotics. For quality probiotic supplements containing prebiotics click here.

Homemade salad dressings help put an end to your stall

Eating salads during a stall is a simple way to jump start weight loss. However, topping a salad with processed dressings is a mistake many people make. These packaged foods, especially the low fat versions, are full of ingredients that inform your body to store fat as opposing to using it as a fuel source.

Enjoy this creamy honey vinaigrette dressing

Making your own salad dressing is not only quick, but it is one area you can increase your prebiotic food intake.

As an example, this creamy lime vinaigrette dressing recipe includes raw garlic, honey and onions. Quite simply, a powerhouse combo for improving the effectiveness of your probiotics.

And it not only tastes delicious. But, it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare.

I loved the recipes… easy and my husband loved them, as did I. I felt full and satisfied. I have not had a low blood sugar since following your 10 Day Back on Track Class Meal Plan and that was my goal.

Plus, the loss of 4 pounds was an added bonus. Looking back I realize I was not eating the right foods therefore I was having low blood sugars. I have a whole new way of thinking when it comes to eating thanks to the Gastric Health Club and to you Dawn! Thanks!!
